Session Catalog

Innovation Track

Amazon Culture of Innovation

Organizations of all sizes often ask how their companies can innovate like Amazon. Since its humble beginnings as the "World's Largest Bookstore," Amazon has not only innovated across e-commerce and other adjacent segments but has also introduced entirely new and unrelated businesses to the organization. Over the years Amazon has gotten very good at taking hard to solve problems and making them easy for the masses to use. This session will look at how Amazon views and leverages technology as a utility to increase the pace of innovation across the organization.

Leveraging Artificial Intelligence Across the Enterprise

Artificial intelligence (AI) is often discussed as a future technology with transformational impact across society. In reality, many enterprises already use innovative AI powered solutions to drive new levels of scale, create new efficiencies, and generate new predictions. In this session, we will explore real world use cases that demonstrate how AI helps organizations innovate for realized business outcomes.

The Latest Innovations in IoT & Edge Computing

In this session, we introduce you to the AWS IoT suite of services so you can see firsthand how we are innovating in the Internet of Things for our customers. Learn how you can use our AWS IoT services to achieve real business outcomes that include developing new business opportunities, improving products over time, forming better relationships with customers, making intelligent decisions faster, and instilling a data-driven discipline in your organization.

Cognitive Customer Experience (CX)

We now live in the world where change is constant, catalyzed by digitalization and consumers have become more sophisticated, connected, empowered by accessible information and knowledge. The bar has been raised to deliver within an agile organisation, a frictionless customer experience powered by augmented intelligence, customer journey analytics, and hyper personalisation to meet customer expectations beyond tomorrow. Join this session to learn how AWS Cognitive CX can provide you with tools that make it easy to deliver engaging customer interactions at scale, and how you can leverage AWS machine learning services to deliver transformational experiences to your.

Realizing Business Value with Analytics

Enterprises have a wide range of analytics use cases such as interactive analysis, big data processing using Apache Spark and Hadoop, data warehousing, real-time analytics, operational analytics, dashboards, and visualizations. How to derive business value from the use cases? Hear how local enterprise customers deliver business impact with AWS Analytics and Big Data services. We will cover data monetisation, creation of net new revenue streams, and agility in experimentation.

Modernisation & Migration Track

Modernizing your Enterprise Applications

Organizations of all sizes often ask how they can innovate like Amazon. Since its humble beginnings as the "World's Largest Bookstore," Amazon has not only innovated across e-commerce and other adjacent segments, but also introduced entirely new and unrelated businesses. Over the years, Amazon has gotten very good at creating solutions for hard-to-solve problems and then making them easy for others to use. Enterprises migrating SAP, Databases, VMware and Microsoft workloads to AWS experience increased agility, productivity and scalability in their business. Based on learnings and best practices collected from the enterprise cloud of many other AWS customers,  this session shows you why AWS is the natural home for core enterprise workloads. You will learn how to reduce cloud migration risks and budgets, and leverage technology to increase the pace of innovation across your organisation.

Hybrid Computing with AWS

Enterprises are adopting cloud computing as a key tenet of their IT strategy to support their digital transformation efforts. While most applications can be easily migrated to the cloud, some applications may need to remain in an on-premises datacenter for latency or data sovereignty requirements. This leads many enterprises to seek hybrid cloud architectures to support both on-premises and cloud operations. This session will provide an overview of how AWS solutions can help customers integrate their on-premises resources with AWS to address cloud migration, data center extension, and disaster recovery use cases, as well as bring native AWS services, infrastructure, and operating models to virtually any data center, co-location space, or on-premises facility for applications that need to remain on-premises.

Elevate Your Security with the Cloud

The practice of cloud security and compliance now enables to innovate both quickly and securely. Many enterprises moving to the cloud may find that some aspects of the cloud security model differ from the model used in their traditional on-premises infrastructure. At AWS, security is our top priority, and this session provides an overview of our security model and best practices to help your organization innovate quickly while maintaining enterprise-level security in the cloud.

How to Build Your Cloud Enablement Engine with the People You Already Have

You know your business can benefit from the cloud, but what does this mean for your staff and operating model? In this webinar, we share best practices we've learned from helping thousands of organizations transform their operating models to accelerate cloud adoption and create innovation flywheels. We show you how you can start with a small, dedicated team from your existing business, design, engineering, and operations staff to free development teams to focus on delivering applications instead of focusing on platform or governance concerns.

Building a Business Case for Cloud Adoption

Most organizations know that can achieve cost savings and greater business agility by moving to the cloud, but they often struggle to develop a comprehensive business case that quantifies the benefits they will see beyond just infrastructure cost savings. In this session, we will introduce the AWS Cloud Value Framework (CVF) and explain how it can be used to measure not only cost savings, but also the value of business agility, operational resilience, and staff productivity. After this session, you should be able to describe the benefits of the cloud to different stakeholders across your organization and present a comprehensive value-based business case.
